You Know My Name

Psalm 139:15

You know me inside and out, you know every bone in my body; You know exactly how I was made, bit by bit, how I was sculpted from nothing into something.

Yes, you know my name
you know my name
I heard you whisper to me,
that I am your own

And, Oh how you comfort me
and, oh how you walk with me
and, oh how you I love you
with all of my heart.

Yes, you know my name,
and I am so amazed
that you call me your friend!

Oh, how gracious is our Lord
who would care about me
and take care of me
and who would deliver me
from my own weaknesses.

Now that is a real God, a True God
one who is noble, right, and true,
never doubt His love you, people of God,
for He will never leave you nor forsake you,
and you can call Him your own.....

How To Surrender Your Fear

Exodus 14:14

The LORD will fight for you; you need only to be still.”

Fear is a state of mind that is crippling. Fear can change your whole perspective on life, on who you are, and what you believe other people say or believe about you. Fear lies to your mind  and to your heart. It is deceptive; it will make you do things and act in a certain way that will not give you any peace or success.

But there is hope. The light in your heart can destroy these feelings of fear and anxiety. The that shines in the darkness and inhabits the hearts and praise of His people, Jesus Christ. Knowing that there is a God in heaven who loves you and is willing to help you in your struggles takes a great weight off your shoulders.

Come and bring your fears, worries, and anxieties to Him. Confess to Him everything that is in your heart. When you show Him that you are willing to live for Him and allow Him to live through you, you will receive His Grace and Mercy in your life and in your circumstances.

Love Him because He first loved you! There is no greater power in the heavens or in the earth. He cares for you and wants only the best for you. He will make a way out of no way. Now, the way He works may seem strange and unfamiliar, but don't let that worry you.

He doesn't need to solve your problems in a logical and practical way, because , you see, He owns everything in the universe. He created it, and so He knows a few ways to get things done that we would never be able to do on our own.

Speak words of love and trust to Him, and allow Him to pick up your heavy load and carry it for you. Speak words of victory into your life. Declare the word of the Lord about yourself, your circumstances, and your family. Live for Him and not against Him, and you will show the world what God can and will do for His children!

How To Deal With Fear And Failure

2 Timothy 1:7
For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.
Fear and failure are connected, because fear is one of the main reasons that we fail. We can fail in our lives, in our relationships, and  often people fail to accept  Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior because of fear and their fearful thoughts.
Some people don't want to change, so they fear learning more about God and His word because they know deep down inside that what they are doing in their lives isn't right. Some are too comfortable in their lives, their cultures and religions to consider changing their lives by following Jesus, so ultimately they reject the word out of the fear of being different than their neighbors, their families, and their friends.
Failure or fear of failure is a subject that no one wants to talk about, and yet is always in the back of our minds. We never want to be exposed as being weak and imperfect, but everything that we do in this life is imperfect. The purpose of this life is not to appear to be perfect in everything that we do, but to understand who we are in Jesus Christ.
The Lord is not surprised when we make a mistake. He knows our strengths and weaknesses, and usually we have more weaknesses than strengths, but that is where the Lord applies His grace and love, and the Blood of His Son, Jesus Christ.
We need to focus on God and not on our fears and weaknesses. The Lord can do great things in the lives of His people as long as we allow Him to live through our hearts and minds. We need His love, His strength, His power and authority to survive and thrive in this world.
It is our belief in God and in Jesus Christ that gives us the strength to face the challenges of life. We can fail because we lose our faith in God, or because we start to  believe in the wrong things that make us stray from the word of God. Sometimes we can forget what the Lord has done for us in the past because the problems we have in the present seem so large. We need to look at our problems the way the Lord would see them, and no problem in heaven and earth is big enough to defeat Him, and so we need to remember that He is always there for his children. He is willing and able to fight our battles for us, and in everything that we do in His name, we will have  the victory.
Learning to live for the Lord takes time and effort. We need to know iHis word and be willing to be led by the promptings of the Holy Spirit. Fear, doubt, worry, and anxiety doesn't always lead to failure. We must try to see ourselves as Jesus sees us. He knows that we have the victory because He died on the cross so that we could be called the Children of God.
Remember, He has already fought the battle for you in the spirit, so ask for a manifestation of His power and Glory into your life; speak the victory into your life!

How To Stand Firm In The Lord and Never Give Up!

Ephesians 6:13

"Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand."

We need to keep ourselves in the heart of God, by giving our love, our time, and our hearts to Him. He will provide everything that we need.

To know God is to love God, and to keep Him safe within your heart just means that you intend to believe in Jesus Christ, to trust Him with your life and to give Him authorship over your life.

If you stand firm in the Lord  you will be intentional in your time with Him, reading the bible, prayer and supplication, interceding for yourself and for others.

You don't need to do it alone. Lean into the Lord and never give up. He will never give up on you. You may be suffering right now, you may be depressed, or fearful and full of anxiety. That is when you need to say "I trust you Lord, I give this circumstance to you. I know that I cannot solve this problem, I don't have the power or the strength, but you do. I bless your Holy Name and I believe you can set me free. Here is my life, I give it all to you...." and watch Him transform your heart and your life. Your victory is in Jesus Christ.

Prayer of Salvation:

Dear Lord Jesus,
Thank you for dying on the cross for my sin. Please forgive me. Come into my life. I receive You as my Lord and Savior. Now, help me to live for you the rest of this life.
In the name of Jesus, I pray.
Amen.

How To Pray Tirelessly

1 Thessalonians 5 16-18

Rejoice always,  pray continually,  give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.

When we pray tirelessly, we pray in every circumstance of our lives. When we sing praises to Him for everything He has done for us, even in good times and in bad times, we are praying to him unceasingly because our love and respect for Him knows no bounds and He is faithful to give us the grace to survive in every battle or season of strife.

When you lift up your eyes to the one who saved you, who healed you, who gave you a way out of no way, who helped you to become a better person, father, mother, co-worker, friend, wife or husband, you know in the bottom of your heart that you could have never made it this far without Him. You are grateful for every circumstance, because you have learned so much and your faith has gotten stronger, and your love for Him is deeper than you ever thought was possible.

That is when you being to realize that prayer is not just a time in the beginning of the church service or the last item on the agenda when you leave the church service. It is not just when you come together to pray with your spouse or with a group of others. It is not just when something catastrophic happens in your life you blurt out a quick prayer for comfort and deliverance.

No, real prayer never ceases. You say wonderful things in your heart to your Lord Jesus, you sing and worship in His presence and you are laughing or crying, you are whispering sweet phrases of love into your Savior's heart. You proclaim to another your love for Him or you tell them what He as done for you. You pray for those people you see in the street whom you know needs Jesus and you say a short prayer as you walk down the street.

You may hold a person's hand and pray for them when they ask for prayer, or you ask them if you can pray for them and they agree with you for prayer in their lives and you pray with your mouth, but also with your heart.

Yes, prayer is everywhere in our hearts, in our minds, in our future, and it helps us to heal from our past. We pray continually, whether we know what we are doing or not. The Lord knows our hearts, and He sees what we need and what we desire for ourselves, and for other people.

Do not be surprised one day when someone comes up to you and asks you to pray for them, because the Holy Spirit has directed them to you. He knows that you are a praying child of God, and that your prayers are real and that they will make a change in that person's live, because you believe in Jesus, and you are willing to pray for them...

How To Have The Peace Of God

Philippians 4:7

And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.

We all have trials and tribulations throughout our lives, but the purpose for allowing these issues into our lives is two fold:  To develop the strength to live according to God's word and to learn to appreciate the providence of God. He will deliver you as you become willing to allow Him to live inside of you and as you live your life with Him in control of your circumstances.

The peace of God resides in those whose hearts are turned to Him, who love and appreciate Him and everything that He does for them. He cannot fail those who are willing to allow Him to transform their hearts and minds.

When you are in a tough situation, you may allow your fears and worries to dominate within your  mind, but that is when you need to press deeper into the heart of God. Prayer, worship time, singing praises to the Lord Jesus, having quiet time with Him so that you can hear His whispers of love in your heart, that is where your salvation lies.

He will comfort you and provide a way out of no way., delivered freely by His hand of Grace, nourished by His word. Don't ever underestimate the power and the majesty of Our Lord Jesus Christ and His willingness to deliver us from all evil, strife, and  the foolish actions of the enemy.

Keep strong and be patient while He fights your battles for you. Don't ever give up, because He will never give up on you!

How To Trust God And His Promises

Psalm 23

The Lord is my shepherd, I lack nothing.    He makes me lie down in green pastures, he leads me beside quiet waters,    he refreshes my soul.  He guides me along the right paths   for his name’s sake.  Even though I walk   through the darkest valley,  I will fear no evil,  for you are with me;  your rod and your staff,  they comfort me.   You prepare a table before me  in the presence of my enemies.  You anoint my head with oil;  my cup overflows.  Surely your goodness and love  will follow me  all the days of my life,  and I will dwell in the house of the Lord  forever.

We need to know within our hearts how much God loves us and that He wants to be with us and live within our hearts, and how much He is willing to deliver us from our fears, our pains, and our weaknesses.  The Lord knows us completely; He knows what we need and He knows what we need to become better people and how we can  better live our christian lives.

Trusting God means leaving our problems and issues behind and to step bravely into His heart. His promises flow from your willingness to live for Him and to leave all your troubles behind. We are never to pretend that we are perfect and that do not have any issues. We are to leave all our problems and issues in Jesus Christ. We cannot do it alone. Only the Blood of Jesus brings salvation and hope.

Freedom in Christ means being free from our sinful nature, our sinful thoughts and desires. It means revelation of the knowledge of love , happiness and peace through Jesus Christ. A person who does not know God's word or Jesus Christ has only his own natural desires as a guide and what he was taught in his society. He cannot see his mistakes or his sinful nature until the Lord touches his heart.

Once the Lord touches his heart, a new day can begin. If he accepts the promptings of the Holy Spirit in his heart and accept Jesus Christ as his personal Lord and Savior, his eyes are opened to the reality of his life and the lives of those in his sphere of influence. He will never be the same again when He chooses spiritual life instead of spiritual death. Even if he tries to deny the word and the presence of the Lord, he will know deep inside himself that he was in the presence of God, and he will know that sin is real.

The Laws of God were given to Israel to show the world what sin is and what it is like.  But the knowledge of sin does not make us righteous in God's eyes. It is when we come to the knowledge that being 'good' does not change our sinful nature.  Only the redeeming, powerful Blood of Jesus can save us from our sins and make us whole and able to have a relationship with the Lord and His Son, Jesus Christ.

Prayer of Salvation: (repeat)

Dear Lord,
I admit that I am a sinner. I have done many things that don’t please you. I have lived my life for myself only. I am sorry, and I repent. I ask you to forgive me.
I believe that you died on the cross for me, to save me. You did what I could not do for myself. I come to you now and ask you to take control of my life; I give it to you. From this day forward, help me to live every day for you and in a way that pleases youI love you, Lord, and I thank you that I will spend all eternity with you.
Amen.

How To Have a Patient Spirit

Isaiah 40:31

but they who wait for the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles; they shall run and not be weary; they shall walk and not faint.

God requires that we wait patiently for Him to move in our lives. Sometimes we get discouraged if we don't immediately receive an answer from our prayers.  We must believe that the Lord heard us the first time He received our request. The answers to our prayers will never be the same. Sometimes the answer is yes, sometimes the answer is yes but not right now. And sometimes the answer is no.
We need to determine if what we are asking for is the right thing to ask for by searching our own hearts for our motivations in our requests to God.

God knows what is best for our lives and our circumstances, and He will never answer a prayer that He knows will not be a true benefit for our lives and for His will for our lives.

So, you must ask yourself if what you are asking for is within the will of God. How do you determine the will of God? By reading His word with prayer and meditation. Reading the bible and worshiping in His presence gives you all the tools necessary to understand who God is and want He wants for all of His children.

If you ask for something that you know the Lord does not allow for His children, you can be sure that He will not provide it for you. If you decide to do it for yourself, then you will be stepping outside the will of God for your life, so you  must be careful about your actions, because if you miss the mark (sin) understand that sin will always have a consequence in your life.

Patience comes as you decide to depend on Him and not on yourself and when  you will allow His will for your life you will have peace in your heart. You will know that He will answer your prayer.
